Concept test for new business services
Type of business service applied during the development of a new service. According to the service being tested, research is carried out among companies and/or private persons.
Concept tests for business services help at an earlier stage of the product cycle (before a service is launched on the market). The aim is to:
• assess the necessity of, and attitudes of potential customers towards, the particular service;
• examine customers' intention to use this service;
• aid service targeting;
• examine attitudes towards the price at which this service is to be offered;
• assess an advertisement strategy being designed;
• generate new ideas.
